These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mayz mobile application and this website (together, the “Service”), operated by Mayz (“Mayz”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- Customer — a user who looks for or requests services through Mayz.
- Provider — a user who offers or provides services through Mayz.
- Content — any information, text, images, listings, reviews, or other material submitted through the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a legally binding contract to use Mayz. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@mayz.info if you suspect unauthorised use. You may delete your account at any time (see Section 14).
4. The role of Mayz
Mayz is a marketplace that connects Customers and Providers. Mayz is not a party to any agreement between them. We do not provide the underlying services, do not employ Providers, and do not supervise, guarantee, or control the quality, safety, legality, or timing of any service arranged through the Service. Any contract for services is solely between the Customer and the Provider.
You acknowledge that Mayz does not verify the qualifications, licensing, or background of users beyond any checks we may explicitly describe, and that you engage other users at your own risk. You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions in all interactions.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or infringing Content;
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm other users;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service or its security;
- Use the Service to send spam or unauthorised advertising;
- Collect other users’ data without consent, or impersonate any person or entity.
6. Providers
If you offer services through Mayz, you are solely responsible for holding any required licences, permits, insurance, and qualifications; for performing services lawfully, safely, and to a professional standard; and for meeting all tax and legal obligations arising from your activity.
7. Customers
If you request services through Mayz, you are responsible for evaluating Providers, agreeing terms directly with them, and treating them respectfully and lawfully.
8. User content
You retain ownership of the Content you submit. By posting Content, you grant Mayz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it as needed to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may remove Content that violates these Terms.
9. Reviews
Reviews and ratings must be honest, based on genuine experiences, and free of unlawful, offensive, or misleading material. We may remove reviews that breach these standards.
10. Intellectual property
The Mayz name, logo, app, website, and their content (excluding user Content) are owned by or licensed to Mayz and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any user or service will meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with other users or the services they provide. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mayz from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm or legal liability. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via our Delete My Account page.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
